Lincoln County Environmental Health is excited to kick-off our partnership with school districts throughout the county. We will begin school classroom inspections in November 2023 and will continue to provide support, education, and inspection of science classrooms and labs to promote safety.
As part of this program, we have developed a number of resources, available below.
- School Chemical List (Excel)
- School Chemical Storage Handout (pdf)
- Monthly Classroom Inspection (pdf)
- Three-Year Inspection Cycle (pdf)
The chemical numbering system on all of our handouts around school safety leverage the numbering system set out by the Washington State Department of Health. We’ve linked the list below, which will download an Excel document (92.7 kb) from the school environmental health page.
To view the list via the WA DOH website, visit the Community and Environment: Schools page, and scroll to the Enhance Safety and Healthy Environments section. Open the Career and Tech Ed, Arts, and Science Classroom section. The file is labeled School Chemical List (Excel).
