Lincoln County has a population of 10,000 and is 2339 square miles in size and is bordered by Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area on the north. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is comprised of two divisions, the Patrol Division and the Corrections/Communication Division. We are a staff of 30. The Patrol Division has 11 patrol deputies and 2 sergeants. Patrol Division responsibilities include deputy coroner, marine patrol, traffic enforcement, and criminal investigations. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is a progressive and innovative department with the latest equipment and top notch training. All equipment, including take home car, is provided. All patrol deputies must live in the county as assigned.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has immediate openings for Corrections/Communications Deputy positions.

The Corrections/Communications Division has 9 Corrections/Communications Deputies under the supervision of the 911 Coordinator and Jail Superintendent. Duties of the Corrections/Communications Division include answer 911 emergency and non-emergency business line calls, process calls for service and dispatch to responding units, records management; booking, releasing, and custodial maintenance of tribal, county, state and federal inmates in a correctional facility.
