Hawk Creek Road

Notice of Road Closure

Subject: Hawk Creek Road BST/Chip Sealing

Lincoln County Public Works is in the process of chip sealing Hawk Creek Road #5554, from M.P. 3.50 (start of gravel section south) to M.P. 9.10 (North gate of the Hawk Creek Estates development).

For the last three weeks the road has been prepared for this chip seal by ditching, hauling gravel and adding culvert extensions. This process requires traffic control in various forms such as construction signing, flaggers (paddle man) and pilot cars. So far, the public has been very cooperative and safe while we complete these activities. However, there are portions of the roadway which will be closed to thru traffic during the initial chip seal which will start on 6/19/23 and run through 6/22/23. The closure is necessary in order to complete a successful chip seal and keep the local traffic safe.

Lincoln County is requiring motorists to use the north exit of Hawk Creek Road during these periods 6 am to 6 pm, M.P. 3.50 to M.P. 9.10. (See Map Below) Although this could be more time-consuming and inconvenient, we appreciate your patience during this short period of construction.

Internal traffic located within these construction limits should expect moderate to long delays while proceeding in either direction.

If you have any questions regarding the closure period or construction on the project, please call Lincoln County Public Works office at 509-725-7041 or visit our website for more information. www.co.lincoln.wa.us

Thank you, Lincoln County Public Works
