The warrants division is responsible for processing of all felony warrants issued from Superior court and misdemeanor warrants issued from District court. Currently the sheriff’s office has over 360 active warrants.
Processing includes entering felony warrants into the state crime information computer and national crime information computer. There is also processing involved when a person is arrested on the warrant or the court quashes (dismisses) the warrant.
If you have information on an individual who has a warrant you can call the warrants division (509) 725-3501 and leave the information or call 911. If you are checking to see if you have a warrant or to see if someone else has a warrant, do not call the warrants division. For felony warrants call the prosecutors office at (509)725-4040. For misdemeanor warrants you need to call district court at (509)725-2281. If the warrant was issued by any other agency you will need to contact that agency.
