NOTICE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW OF
LINCOLN COUNTY PASSIVE REHYDRATION PREFEASIBILITY REPORT
Comments due January 31st, 2011

The Lincoln County Conservation District has completed the Pre-Feasibility Assessment for the proposed
Lincoln County Passive Rehydration Project.  The Prefeasibility Assessment was completed in order to
determine if any fatal flaws were identified that would prohibit the further evaluation of diverting water from Lake
Roosevelt and conveying it to the tributary drainages of Crab Creek.  Initial review has determined that a
recommendation to proceed to the Feasibility Study and Pilot Testing Program should be conducted in 2011.
The Prefeasibility Assessment also ranked potential drainages in which to conduct a Pilot Testing Program, of
which the Lake Creek Drainage was selected.

The LCCD is seeking public comment on the Draft Prefeasibility Report.  Comments will be received by the
LCCD through January 31st, 2011.  The Draft Report and comment forms are available and attached above.

Hard copies and CD’s of the report are also available at the LCCD office in Davenport, WA, or by contacting
Dave Lundgren, LCCD Manager at: 509-725-4181, ext. 3.  The LCCD believes stakeholder input is an important
part of the success of this project and we encourage you to please review the report and provide any comments.
