Living Environment

Through multiple programs, the health department works to ensure the environment that we work and play are safe and promote healthy well-being.  Environmental Health Specialists review plans and conduct inspections on facilities such as schools, swimming pools, waterparks, natural bathing beaches, etc.

WATER RECREATION

The Health Department conducts routine inspections of all swimming pools and spa's in Lincoln County.  Inspections include water chemistry, pool safety, markers and borders.  This is done to assure that the water facilities provide a safe and healthy environment for their patrons.  We can also provide assistance to home owned pools with safety and water quality issues.
