- Prevent youth from beginning to use tobacco
products
- The average age a person begins using tobacco products is 13
- 45 Washington youth start smoking everyday. (that is 16,425 every year)
- Help youth and adults quit
- Washington has it's own tobacco quitline

- Less than 16% of the population in WA smoke.
- "On November 8th 2005, the voters passed I-901 making Washington a
smoke-free state. The Law went into effect on December 8th 2005, banning
smoking in all public places, places of employment and 25 feet from all
doors, windows that open and ventilation intakes." To find out more about
