The Board of County Commissioners met this day in Regular Session with all members present.

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS:  Were presented.

 

MINUTES:  Were approved as presented.

 

CLAIMS:  Claims for 2012 were examined and ordered paid in the amount of $472,997.25.

 

PAYROLL CHANGE NOTICES:  Were approved as presented.

 

MEETING:  EDC Director met to present a departmental update and request Lodging Tax Proposal be approved and signed by Chair.

 

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved Lodging Tax Proposal for 2012 and allowed Chair to sign.

 

AGREEMENT:  For Promotion of Tourism for Lincoln County for 2012 was signed.

 

PRESENTATION:  Gonzaga student presented an analysis of Lincoln County survey data and retail sales.

 

MEETING:  Public Works Director met to present a departmental update.

 

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved request to hire a mechanic.

 

REIMBURSABLE WORK REQUEST:  With the Town of Almira for street sweeping was signed.

 

CERTIFICATION:  Of Reports for submittal to CRABoard was signed.

 

RESOLUTION 2544R:  Approved transferring funds from county road fund to the equipment rental and revolving fund.

 

RESOLUTION 12-14:  Approved a budget extension to the Public Health Budget.

 

DISPATCH SERVICES AGREEMENT: With the Town of Reardan was signed.   

      

LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION:  Was received for Family Resource Center event.

 

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, authorized the application.

 

MEMORANDUM:  From Judge Grant regarding transfer of funds to allow for purchase of software was presented.

 

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved transfer of funds.

 

REQUEST:  From Sheriff to surplus a vehicle.

 

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved request to surplus.

 

LETTER:   Was received from BNSF Railway regarding damage to a crossing arm.

 

LETTER:  Was received from Manager at Butte View Senior Apartments requesting funds from Affordable Housing for repairs at apartments.

 

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, tabled request until Board was able to speak with the only other entity that would that would also be entitled to the funds.

 

Adjournment:  With no further business, the meeting was adjourned to meet again on Monday, April 2, 2012.
