COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS

LINCOLN COUNTY

JANUARY 5, 2009

 

The Board of County Commissioners met this day in Regular Session with a quorum of Commissioners present.  Commissioner Bly was absent due to weather.         

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS:  Were presented.

CLAIMS:  Claims were examined and ordered paid in the amount of $918,496.86.

RESOLUTION 09-02:  Authorized acquisition of personal property and execution of financing Contract related to State Treasurer’s loan for two patrol vehicles.

RESOLUTION 09-03:  Authorized reimbursement of State Treasurer’s loan.

RESOLUTION 09-04:  Declared a State of Emergency due to severe weather related conditions.

NOTIFICATION:  Was received from State Liquor Board of new application by Sunriver Distributing.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved application and authorized Vice Chair to sign.

NOTIFICATION:  Was received from ESD 101 regarding Wilbur School District and Debt Service fund Levy rollback.

BOND INSURANCE:  For Commissioner District 2 was received.

STATE TREASURER’S LOAN:  Documentation for State Treasurer’s Loan for two patrol vehicles was signed.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, authorized Auditor to sign certain State Treasurer’s loan documents for patrol vehicles.

MEETING:  Deputy Treasurer met to discuss uncollectible personalty taxes.

RESOLUTION 09-01:  Cancelled uncollectible personalty taxes.

MEETING:  Public Works Director met to present departmental report.

LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT:  Supplement for Rocklyn Road was signed.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, authorized Vice Chair to sign agreement.

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT:  With the Town of Odessa for Solid Waste Program Fees was signed.

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT:  With the Town of Odessa for waste reduction and recycling program was signed.

MEMORANDUM:  Was received from Auditor regarding mileage reimbursement rate.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved new mileage rate.

LETTER:  To Auditor from Chairman requesting that beginning fund balances be adjusted from estimated to actual.

 

Adjournment:  With no further business, the meeting was adjourned to meet again on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
