LINCOLN COUNTY

The Board of County Commissioners met this day in Regular Session with all Commissioners present. 

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS:  Were presented.

CLAIMS:  Claims were examined and ordered paid in the amount of $405,951.21.

PAYROLL CHANGE NOTICES:  Were approved as presented.

COMMISSIONERS ORDER 09-21:  Approved a transfer of land from Fire Dist. 1 to Fire Dist. 6.

RESOLUTION 09-48:  Adopted the 2010 Budget Calendar.

RESOLUTION 09-49:  Approved a budget extension to Sheriff’s Office Budget.

APPOINTMENT:  Of Communications/Corrections Deputy J. Shields was received.

JOB SHARE REQUEST:  Was submitted from WSU Extension Director regarding the secretary position.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved job share request.

REQUEST TO HIRE:  Was submitted by Developmental Disabilities Program Manager for extra help with janitorial duties for 6-8 hours a month.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved request to hire extra help.

LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL:  Was submitted for Big Bend Golf and Country Club.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, authorized Chairman to sign renewal.

REQUEST FOR SEASONAL HELP:  Was submitted by Clerk for summer help.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved the request for summer help in Clerk’s Office.

LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL:  Was submitted for Sunriver Distributing.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, authorized Chairman to sign renewal.

NOTICE: Was received from Planning Services Director recommending the continuation of the current use classification of Timber for the Ermi’s.

RURAL GRANT AWARD UPDATE:  Was received from Town of Wilbur regarding Airport project.

LETTER:  Addressed to the Spokane Tribe was signed by the Board regarding the support of efforts of the Tribe to gain reparation payments.

MEETING:  Auditor met to present a departmental update.

MEETING:  Public Works Director presented departmental report.

LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT:  The supplement was signed for Kiner Road Project.

 MOTION:  By unanimous vote, authorized Chairman to sign agreement.

AGREEMENT:  Between Lincoln County and Tammy Cellers c/o Denise Fox was signed to allow County to remove pit run materials from owner’s property.

LETTER:  Was received from the Town of Reardan regarding the efforts in creating the Preliminary Draft of the Solid Waste Management Plan and the possibility of implementing flow control for the county.

 

Adjournment:  With no further business, the meeting was adjourned to meet again on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.
