The Board of County Commissioners met this day in Regular Session with all Commissioners present.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: Were presented.
MINUTES: From January 7, 2008 were approved as presented.
INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT: For cost of repairs to HVAC system at the Public Safety Building.
CLAIMS: Claims were examined and ordered paid in the amount of $349,021.57.
TELECONFERENCE: Legislative lobbyist presented legislative update.
RESOLUTION 08-08: Declared a state of emergency for Lincoln County due to the weather.
CONTRACT AMENDMENT: to the 2007-2011 Consolidated Contract with Lincoln County Health Department.
AGREEMENT AMENDMENT: Extending agreement to June 30, 2008 for WSU Farm Financial Analysis and Planning.
LIQUOR LICENSE: Notification of Special Occasion Liquor License application was received.
LETTER: Regarding election costs for Coulee Area Park & Recreation Dist. for 2007 was received.
REQUEST: From Lincoln County Fair to submit for bids for a siding project from the Public Works small work roster.
LETTER: From the Sheriff requesting the Civil Service Board establish a new list of names for later in the year.
LETTER: From the Sheriff requesting a new position number for new employee.
LETTER: Was received from the town of Reardan approving two parcels of land be annexed.
ROAD LEVY CERTIFICATION: Was received from CRABoard requesting certification for 2008 road levy and estimated revenue produced.
MEMORANDUM: Was received from Developmental Disabilities allowing Mona McCalmant to sign vouchers while Cathy Christian is absent.
MEETING: Deputy Treasurer met to present list of tax refunds issued in 2007.
MOTION: By unanimous vote, approved tax refund list as presented.
CONTRACT: Was presented by the Sheriff for the Homeland Security Grant SDEM- 0716.
LETTER: Was received from Grand Coulee Dam Area D.A.R.E. Association regarding a donation to the School Resource Officer program in Lincoln County.
LETTER: From the Sheriff to the Grand Coulee Dam Area D.A.R.E. Association thanking them for the donation to the School Resource Officer program in Lincoln County.
AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION: Verification of notification was received from The Wilbur Register.
BID OPENING: Four bids were opened for Asphalt Products for the Public Works Department.
MOTION: By unanimous vote, referred bids to Public Works Director.
MEETING: Public Works Director presented departmental report.
MEETING: Land Services Director met to provide an update on WRIA 53.
