COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS

LINCOLN COUNTY

SEPTEMBER 4, 2007

The Board of County Commissioners met this day in Regular Session with all Commissioners present.            

COMMITTEE REPORTS:  Were presented.

CLAIMS:  Claims were examined and ordered paid in the amount of $1,437,651.51.

RESIGNATION:  From Alcohol/Drug Center Director was received.

LETTER:  From Alcohol/Drug Center Advisory Board recommending Jan Wigen be appointed

            part-time Interim Director was received.

GRIEVANCE RESOLUTION:  Agreement with Cliff DeMar was signed.

MEETING:  Chair of Alcohol/Drug Center Advisory Board met to discuss resignation.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, appointed Jan Wigen as Interim Director of Alcohol/Drug Center.

RESOLUTION 07-40:  Appointed Rick Becker as Assistant County Engineer.

RESOLUTION 07-41:  Authorized budget extension to Special Funded Services.

CONTRACT:  Between Odessa School District and Health Department was signed.

NOTIFICATION:  Of Special Liquor License application by Odessa Chamber of Commerce was

            received.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, authorized Chair to sign the notice.

HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION COMPLAINT:  Was received as filed by Maria Bircher.

LETTER:  Was received from Economic Development Council regarding OHV usage facilitation.

MEETING:  Spokane Walleye Club President met to discuss issues with National Park Service

            during recent tournament.

MEETING:  Northwest MedStar representative met to present information regarding services.

MEETING:  Public Works Director met to present departmental update.

LETTER:  Was received from City of Davenport requesting matching grant funds.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved grant of $10,000 from Paths & Trails to City of    Davenport.

MEETING:  GWMA Director met to present September 1, 2007 to June 30, 2009 budget and

            discuss Subsurface Mapping and Aquifer Assessment Project.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved GWMA budget.

MOTION:  By unanimous vote, approved General Scope of Work for project.

MEETING:  Sheriff and Undersheriff met to discuss vehicle issues, overtime and Civil Service      testing.

MEETING:  Auditor met to discuss Alcohol/Drug Center funding.

Adjournment:  With no further business, the meeting was adjourned to meet again on Monday, September 17, 2007.
